When you see a rewards percentage (like “up to 10% back”) for a merchant, that percentage applies to the subtotal of your eligible items (excluding tax, shipping, and fees). The exact points you earn depend on the merchant's commission structure and the product categories in your order.

Not everything will earn you points. Common exclusions include:

• Gift cards and prepaid cards
• Items returned or refunded after purchase
• Orders cancelled by the merchant or buyer
• Items purchased with certain third-party coupons not provided by Package Retriever
• Products in categories the merchant has excluded from their affiliate program
• Orders where the affiliate tracking cookie was overwritten by another source before checkout

The merchant decides which items and categories are eligible. If your cart contains only ineligible items, no points will be earned on that order.

Points are initially recorded as Pending after your purchase. They remain pending until the merchant confirms the sale through their affiliate network. This typically takes 30 to 90 days, depending on the merchant's return window and verification process.

We cannot guarantee the exact number of points you'll receive until the merchant confirms the transaction. If a merchant reverses a commission (due to returns, fraud, or disputes), the corresponding points will be adjusted or removed.

The percentage shown (e.g., “up to 20% back”) represents the maximum possible commission rate available from the merchant across all product categories. Your actual reward rate may be lower depending on what you purchase. For example, Amazon's rates range from 1% on groceries to 20% on Amazon Games.

To earn points, you must activate rewards through the Rookie's Rewards extension before completing your purchase. Activation sets a tracking cookie with the merchant. If you clear your cookies, use a different browser, or another affiliate link overwrites the cookie before checkout, the purchase may not be tracked and no points will be awarded.

Merchants may change their commission rates, eligible categories, or program terms at any time without notice to Package Retriever. We update displayed rates as quickly as possible, but there may be brief periods where the shown rate differs from the current merchant rate.
